The Sprinter 500 is Black Diamond's premium headlamp for runners who rack up miles after sunset or before sunrise. With 500 lumens on its brightest setting, it gives us plenty of night vision while the PowerTap technology lets us adjust our brightness setting up or down with simple taps. The single-button interface makes it easy to turn the lamp off and on and switch between six modes, and the digital lockout feature prevents the lamp from accidentally turning on in our pocket or pack. Conveniently, the Sprinter features two power options—it can run off three AAA batteries (sold separately) or the included rechargeable Lithion Ion battery, giving us backup options on long, overnight runs. Light on our heads yet bright on the trail, the Sprinter 500 Headlamp helps us run safely on the road and on the trail.
